This white FFP2 mask is a single-use mask disposed of after each use. The maximum time to use it is 4 hours. Discard in an appropriate container after use. The mask meets the standards of EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 set by the EU, which qualifies it to be used as a PPE.

What are FFP masks?

FFP stands for Filtering Facepiece, and it refers to half masks designed to protect the person wearing it from the smallest particles like bacteria and viruses. It also filters the air from pollutants and microparticles suspended in the air. Wearing the mask is the best form of protection against aerosols and non-volatile particles. Wearing nose and mouth guards does not give you the same level of protection.

What are the requirements for FFP masks? 

FFP2 masks must be manufactured in line with the EU standards of EN 149 and EU 2016/425. This standard is what sets apart the masks categorized as FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3. The masks don’t have leaks and greatly reduce your chances of being infected when out in the public.

Our white FFP2 masks significantly lower infection risks in the person wearing them. However, wearing the masks alone is not a guarantee that you are safe from COVID-19 and other diseases. Therefore, in addition to wearing FFP2 masks, people should also observe other rules like social distancing and proper hygiene.
